The Inspiration Behind the New Arc
Summer anime 'Tai Ari Deshita' has released the synopsis and preliminary scene cuts of the first episode, 'I'll Stop Playing Fighting Games', which will begin airing on July 7th.
'There was a match. ~Ladies Don't Play Fighting Games~' is based on a manga by Eri Ejima currently being serialized in 'Monthly Comic Flapper', and depicts the play of a heated fighting game that takes place at a school for young ladies.
Storyline and Characters
Aya Mitsuki, a commoner who entered a school for young ladies, admires Mio Yae, also known as 'Shirayuri-sama', who attracts the most attention at the school. However, one day, Aya witnesses Mio playing a fighting game in an empty classroom. And Mio, on the other hand, also saw that Aya was a fighting gamer.
Playing games on campus is strictly prohibited. Still, the two want to fight now. And thus, the young ladies' passionate fighting game life is brought to an end.
