Upcoming Anime: Cat and Dragon
The summer anime season is just around the corner, and one of the most highly anticipated series is "Cat and Dragon". Based on the original work by Amara, this heartwarming story follows a mother cat who decides to raise a fire-breathing dragon as her own.
The Storyline
The story takes place in a deep forest where a mother cat safely gives birth to her kittens. However, what crawls out from under the piled-up dead leaves is a tiny baby fire-breathing dragon. The dragon's mother has passed away, and the cat decides to raise it as her own, despite being from different species.
Cast and Staff
The anime features a talented cast, including Taketo Koyasu as Nekoryu, Kikuko Inoue as Mama Nyan, Fuka Izumi as Shirotae, and Sho Hayami as Kurobane. The staff includes director Osing, series composition by Mitsuki Hirota, and character design by Chiaki Kurata and Rie Nishino.
Broadcast and Streaming
The first episode of "Cat and Dragon" will be broadcast on July 4th on TOKYO MX, BS Nippon TV, Yomiuri TV, AT-X, and Nagasaki Bunka Broadcasting. The anime will also be available for streaming on various platforms, including dAnimeStore and ABEMA, starting from June 27th.
