McDonald's new TV commercial, ``Big Mac ``Then and Now, When You Think of Summer'' edition, will start airing nationwide on June 30th. The commercial uses famous scenes from the animated films ``The Girl Who Leapt Through Time,'' ``Summer Wars,'' and ``Wolf Children'' directed by Mamoru Hosoda.

``Big Mac ``Then and now, when you think of summer'' edition'' is the third in a TV commercial series that symbolizes the ``strongest combination'' of McDonald's hamburger Big Mac and Coca-Cola. The commercial alternately combines famous scenes from ``The Girl Who Leapt Through Time,'' ``Summer Wars,'' and ``Wolf Children'' with live-action footage. Riki Miura, Ryuichi Kihara, and Hikaru Morita of Sakurazaka46, known as the "Rikuryu pair", appeared in the live-action video part.
