Kazuro Inoue's new series ``Uchuu Bancho ☆ Jagasaki'' started in the April issue of Comic Heaven (Nippon Bungeisha), released today, February 28th.
Inoue's new series, known for works such as ``Beautiful Bird Days,'' is a sci-fi gun action story about a Yankee and a beautiful high school girl. Jin Jagasaki, a 17-year-old Yankee, was full of talent for fighting, but he wanted a girlfriend more than that talent. However, due to his strong fighting ability, he is feared and the person he confesses to runs away. One day, Jagazaki encounters a dangerous alien. A beautiful girl with a gun saves Jagasaki from being attacked by aliens... This issue marks the 100th issue of Comic Heaven. Commemorative illustrations and comments from the authors are featured in color at the beginning of the book.
