A special screening of Makoto Shinkai's works, ``Director Makoto Shinkai Special Feature 2026,'' will be held from May 1st to May 31st at Shimokitazawa Tollywood in Tokyo.
Shimokitazawa Tollywood is where Shinkai's commercial debut film "Voices of a Star" was first screened on February 2, 2002. In the ``Director Makoto Shinkai Special Feature 2026,'' ``Voices of a Star'' and ``Girlfriend and Her Cat'' will be screened consecutively, and a total of seven films, including his latest work ``The Sparrow's Door Shut,'' will be screened on a weekly basis. Additionally, all films will be screened at once for three days from May 29th to May 31st.
The regular version of "5 Centimeters per Second" will be screened. Please note that there will be no screening of special footage, distribution of benefits, or sale of limited edition goods.
