Volume 1 of Hidaka Hinden's ``Mrs. Akechi'', originally written by Kengo Kaji, was released today, February 20th.
Fumiyo is the wife of the famous detective Akechi Kogoro. She was raised by a serial killer known as the "Magician", betrayed her adoptive father for love, and became Akechi's partner. Fumiyo is working on a case with Akechi's assistant Kobayashi, but one day, Akechi goes missing along with the monster with 20 faces, and she sets out on a journey to find her husband. Fumiyo takes on the challenge of solving bizarre incidents, dealing with people who have ``extremely dangerous'' souls. The work is currently being serialized in Morning Two.
