The Inspiration Behind the New Arc
In commemoration of Kazuo Umezu's 90th birthday, we have started the UMEZZ AUTHENTIC COLLECTION series, which publishes works in magazine-sized B5 size based on Umezu's wishes. The first volume of ``[Standard Book] Drifting Classroom'' was released today, June 19th.
Preserving Umezu's Legacy
UMEZZ AUTHENTIC COLLECTION was started to fulfill Umezu's wish that ``I want Umezu's works to be spread all over the world and be passed down from generation to generation.'' The first volume, ``[Standard Book] Drifting Classroom,'' will be released every other month in all five volumes. The data is created by rescanning the original using the latest digital technology. It includes the front page, which was not included in previous books. In addition, the logo design for UMEZZ AUTHENTIC COLLECTION was done by Yuni Yoshida, and the design for ``[Standard] Drifting Classroom'' was done by Sekinesinichi Production Studio.
