The second key visual for the TV anime 'MAO' based on Rumiko Takahashi's original work and the cast of five characters who will appear in the second season have been announced.
The second key visual depicts Mao, Nanaka Koba, Otoya, and a cat demon in the form of Haimaru. Behind it is a stained glass window depicting Mao's former lover, Sana, and a mysterious woman, Yurako, in addition to images of her brothers, sisters, and disciples from the famous Onmyoji family, the Mikuri family.
Meet the New Cast Members
Takuya Sato will play the role of Hakubi, an onmyoji who manipulates the art of gold and Mao's former disciple; Rie Kugimiya will play the role of Natsuno, an onmyoji who manipulates the art of earth and Mao's former sister disciple; Katsuyuki Konishi will play the role of Daigo, an onmyoji who manipulates the art of earth.
A Sneak Peek at the Non-Credit Opening Video
Ahead of the broadcast of the second season, a non-credit opening video of the second season, in which 20th Century's 'The World We Overwrite' plays, was released on YouTube.
The TV anime 'MAO' is currently being broadcast. The story depicts how Naoka Koba wanders into the Taisho era, where demons are rampant, meets Mao, and the two of them face off against the 'curse.'
