Volume 1 of Kawai Chihiro's ``My Favorite Person in a Different Class'' was released today, March 16th.
Ayaka Kondo, a first-year junior high school student, was crying alone at a summer festival because she kept wearing geta that she was not used to and got blisters. The person who helped her was Shirou Takada, a boy from a different class. After this, the two start talking, but Shirou has always been interested in Ayaka due to something that happened when he first enrolled in the school. This is a love story between Ayaka, who is serious and considerate of others, and Shirou, who has a bad look and is often misunderstood, but is kind-hearted. The work is serialized in Akita Shoten's Souffle.
