Volume 1 of the manga version of the theatrical anime "Etoile Blooming in Paris" was released today, March 23rd. The comic adaptation is being handled by French manga artist Zelihan.
"Etoile Blooming in Paris" is an original theatrical animation directed by Goro Taniguchi and with character designs by Katsuya Kondo. Fujiko, a girl who dreams of becoming a painter, cannot give up on her dream of becoming a painter, even though her parents hope that she will become a good wife in the future. Fujiko finally decides to leave for Paris, which was his dream, and there he meets Chizuru, a woman who is an expert in the naginata but is attracted to ballet... The story depicts two people struggling to pursue their dreams in early 20th century Paris. The work is currently being serialized in Monthly Afternoon (Kodansha).
