Major Promotions for Yomi no Tsugai Anime Take Over Tokyo and Kansai
The wait is almost over for fans! In preparation for the upcoming broadcast of the Yomi no Tsugai TV anime, which is based on the brilliant original work by Hiromu Arakawa, huge marketing efforts are currently underway. Large-scale advertisements have started appearing across Tokyo and major parts of the Kansai region. These promotions are scheduled to run from March 30th right up until April 5th, creating a massive buzz just before the official premiere.

Massive Visuals and Digital Displays in Shibuya and Shinjuku
If you happen to be in Shibuya, you really cannot miss the "Hyakki Yako" themed advertisement displayed at UC Chika Vision in Shibuya Scramble Square. It looks absolutely stunning and captures the eerie vibe of the series perfectly. But that is not all; the promotions are literally everywhere. Inside Tobu Ikebukuro Station, they have totally jacked up the signage pillar C area and the round wide vision screens with a special "vs." motif visual. It is quite a sight for commuters passing through the station every day.
For those who prefer watching the action in motion, special promotional videos (PVs) are being aired at several high-traffic spots, including:
- Veats Shibuya Vision
- YUNIKA VISION
- Cross Shinjuku Vision
Even the Osaka Station central exit has been transformed with dynamic advertisements using pillar-wrapping vision technology. It is very clear that the production team is leaving no stone unturned to ensure everyone knows about this release. Given the pedigree of the creator, many are already discussing why the new manga from Fullmetal Alchemist's creator is a must read and how it will translate to the screen.
An Epic Tale of Twins and Daemons
For those who are new to the story, Yomi no Tsugai is a gripping battle fantasy. The plot revolves around Yul and Asa, a brother and sister who were born as "twins whose night and day are separate" in a village hidden deep in the mountains of Japan. Their lives are far from normal, as they are destined to gain power that can literally shake the world. Along with their friends, they must face a very harsh and mysterious fate alongside beings known as Tsugai.
The series is highly anticipated because of Arakawa's storytelling style. If you want to dive deeper into the lore, checking out a Yomi no Tsugai guide will help you understand the complexity of the characters. The anime will officially start its broadcast on TOKYO MX, BS11, and other channels from April 4th. Don't miss out on what is likely to be one of the biggest hits of the season!
