Tomoyuki Morikawa will play the role of Tenki and Nobuhiko Okamoto will appear as the role of Kakiga in the TV anime ``BLACK TORCH'' based on the original work by Tsuyoshi Takakitoshi.
This was announced on the stage of "AnimeJapan 2026" being held at Tokyo Big Sight on March 28th. Tenki, played by Morikawa, is a monster with powers that surpass human comprehension, and Kakuga, played by Okamoto, is a young monster who works alongside Tenki.
The TV anime "BLACK TORCH" will be broadcast on TOKYO MX and other channels from July 4, 2026. This is the story of a battle that begins with the encounter between Niro Agatsuma, a high school student who is a descendant of ninja and has the ability to talk to animals, and the legendary Mononoke Rakuji. The role of Niro will be played by Ryota Suzuki, and the role of Rachi will be played by Yoji Ueda.
