``Wandering into another world with just one fishing rod'' is an outdoor fantasy set in another world created by the author, who is a big fan of fishing. Owari Machida is a successful professional fisherman, but due to the betrayal of his friends, he ends up in debt. After that, when he turned 55, he managed to make a living, but he fell into the sea while fishing on a boat. When he wakes up, he finds himself on an island in another world, where he has somehow become younger, and in front of him is a beastman who calls himself Rinakina. When he hears from her that the culture of fishing has disappeared in this other world, he becomes depressed, but Rinakina makes a proposal to him, saying that he might become the island's savior.
