Otome Kaiju Charamelize Episode 2 Advance Cut Released
The synopsis and preliminary scene cuts of the second episode of the summer anime 'Otome Kaiju Charamelize', which will begin broadcasting on July 9, 2026 (Thursday), 'The Door That Doesn't Open' have been released.
'Otome Kaiju Charamelize' is a romantic comedy based on the manga by Spica Aoki, which has been serialized in KADOKAWA's 'Monthly Comic Alive' since 2018 and has sold over 230,000 copies in total. Kuroe Akaishi, also known as Chloe, is a high school girl who suffers from an unknown illness. She is clumsy and has avoided interacting with people, but after a certain encounter, she falls in love with Shinta Minami, a popular boy in her class.
The Story Unfolds
However, when the girl realizes that she is in love with him, her dormant power is released. Love and reason compete - a shocking development unfolds that overturns the conventional wisdom of girls' manga.
The animation will be produced by Leiden Film under the direction of Teruyuki Omine. The cast includes Mitsuri Chiga as Kuroe Akaishi, Daiji Kajita as Shinta Minami, Akira Sekine as Manatsu Yuri, Haruka Shiraishi as Raimu Kono, Kotono Mitsuishi as Rinko Akaishi, Katsuyuki Konishi as Kotaro Hibino, and Eriko Matsui as Jumbo King.
Episode 2 'The Door That Won't Open' Synopsis
Kuroe becomes the giant monster Hargon due to his heightened emotions. He is worried about Shinta, but a beautiful girl, Manatsu, appears and is heartbroken.
I'll never feel that way again, so I won't become a monster anymore.
However, that night, a new monster appears...
The second episode of the summer anime 'Otome Kaiju Charamelize', 'The Door That Doesn't Open', will be broadcast sequentially on TBS, BS11, and AT-X from July 9th (Thursday).
