The New Cast Members
Shinpachi Tsuji, Yuko Kaida, and Yoshitada Otsuka have been confirmed as additional cast members of the TV anime "BLACK TORCH" based on the original work by Tsuyoshi Takakitoshi.

Tsuji plays Toshimasa Agatsuma, Niro Agatsuma's grandfather. As a descendant of the Agatsuma family, a family of shinobi, he raised Niro, who had no parents, like his own child. Hisasumi Touko, played by Kaida, is the chief of the Special Affairs Division 1, which boasts the most personnel and power in the Public Secret Bureau. Otsuka will play the role of Tokieda Banjuro, Hisazumi's subordinate who belongs to the Secret Secret Bureau Special Affairs Division 1.
Character Roles and Staff
Comments were also received from Tsuji, Kaida, and Otsuka. The role of Niro will be played by Ryota Suzuki, and the role of Rachi will be played by Yoji Ueda. Additionally, some staff members, including the art director and sound director, have been newly released.

Broadcast Details
The TV anime "BLACK TORCH" will be broadcast on TOKYO MX and other channels from July 4, 2026. This is the story of a battle that begins with the encounter between Niro Agatsuma, a high school student who is a descendant of ninja and has the ability to talk to animals, and the legendary Mononoke Rakuji.
