Mobile Police Patlabor Shibashigeo Pia Releases

The Inspiration Behind the New Arc

It has been revealed that "Mobile Police Patlabor Shibashigeopia" from "Mobile Police Patlabor EZY" will be released on August 5, 2026.

"Mobile Police Patlabor EZY" is a completely new anime in the "Mobile Police Patlabor" series that will be released in theaters with a total of 8 episodes and 3 chapters. It has attracted a lot of attention since its production announcement, and File 1 was released on May 15, 2026. File 2 is scheduled to be released on August 14th, and File 3 will be released in March 2027.

Exclusive Illustrations and Interviews

Pia Co., Ltd. has released ``Aki Izumino Pia'' and ``Kiichi Goto Pia'' so far, but this time, a long-awaited book featuring Shibashigeo has been released. The cover features Shibashigeo Shibashi, which is exclusive to this magazine, drawn by Akemi Takada.

Furthermore, to commemorate the release of ``Mobile Police Patlabor EZY'', in addition to this newly drawn illustration, the cover illustrations of previously released ``Akipia Izumino'' and ``Pia Goto Kiichi'' will be included as postcards. An A3 poster featuring famous scenes and quotes from Shiva will also be included as an appendix.

The magazine thoroughly dissects the charm of Shibashigeo, including the latest information on ``Mobile Police Patlabor EZY'', Shibashigeo's famous scenes and quotes, and story playbacks. Additionally, interviews with Shigeru Chiba, who plays Shigeo Shiba, and Yutaka Izubuchi, director of ``Mobile Police Patlabor EZY,'' will also be published.

Revival of Out-of-Print Books

In addition, to commemorate the release of ``Shibashigeo Pia,'' it has been decided that the out-of-print books ``Aki Izumino Pia'' and ``Kiichi Goto Pia'' will be revived as e-books. Please enjoy it together with "Mobile Police Patlabor EZY".
