The opening day stage greeting for the anime ``Mobile Police Patlabor EZY'' File 1 was held on May 15th at Shinjuku Piccadilly in Tokyo, with director Yutaka Izubuchi, Kazunori Ito, who worked on the script and series composition, Masami Yuuki, who was in charge of the original character design, and Mariko Nagai, who sings the ending theme song ``Baton'', on stage. Hidetaka Tenjin served as MC.

The Inspiration Behind the New Arc
According to director Yutaka Izubuchi, the new arc of Patlabor EZY was inspired by his own experiences and interests. He stated that he wanted to create a story that explored the human condition in a futuristic world.

Kazunori Ito, who worked on the script and series composition, stated that the team went back to the basics and created a new story from scratch. He said that they wanted to create a story that was both familiar and new, with a unique twist on the traditional Patlabor formula.
